A fresh
oceanic breeze
carries
salty air into

The candles flicker
and come alive
Lighting up
your face
pale ivory in
the dull
light
Evening moments in
the restful sounds
of rolling surf
By the warm ocean
hoping for-
a kiss
As I turn
glance
at you
