A WAR WAS DECLARED LAST NIGHT
A War was declared last night.
It was a dreadful site.
I hope not many died in the fight,
Because a War was declared last night.
Tonight a prayer will be said,
Pray that not a soul bled,
And not a tear was shed,
Tonight in the prayer that will be said.
If it makes us sad, then why?
Should parents and friends cry
While smoke and bullets fill the sky.
This makes us sad, then why?
Curse the shame
Of this hideous game.
Our minds and bodies forever lame,
I curse the shame.
Please stop the pain,
For there will be nothing to gain.
And our country will wane
Because of our pain.
